This photographic body of work explores the fragility of life and the remnants left behind. When wild animals cross the road and are struck down they are transformed from a living creature to a lifeless object. Their fragile, broken forms have been photographed and the animal’s final form is frozen in time. This journey began by exploring the surrounding areas of Herefordshire and South Wales photographing 'the accidental acts of brutality’ caused by drivers. While the animals broken body lies on the floor, these photographs reclaim a small part of the dignity the animals had in life.
